The Miao village - The village of lush

This is a documentary about the Miao village and the soul instrument of the Miao ethnic group - lusheng.

Through discussions with three local people, a full picture of lusheng unfolds in front of us. Simple portraits of every face and spot in the village provide the audiences an immersive experience to the life in the village, which has been influenced by lusheng for decades.

Lusheng is the blood and soul of Miao people, common but not forgotten. It is the language of Miao people telling their history and teachings of their ancestors. Lusheng represents eternity with its sound that will never die in the long river of the time.
