The dance of Kazakhs: Soul of the nomadic life

In the southern suburb of Urumqi in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, is a settlement for the Kazakhs. As the sun sets, Kazakhs in the city light a bonfire with the smell of milk tea all around and singing filling the air, and dance to show their ethnic customs. The dance of Eid al-Fitr, in the eyes of the Kazakhs, is not just for folk display, but a fine official performance. It expresses the nomadic folklore perfectly.
