The Rural Road Reconstruction Project (Fiji)

The 19km project mainly aims to reconstruct the original gravel or earth pavement into a 7.3m-wide closed asphalt pavement. Upon completion, the driving speed for the expressway will be increased to 60km/h.

The road is an important part of the transportation planning strategy of Fiji government, and its construction is of great importance to promoting the country's economic development.
