Egyptian ambassador: Why we should embrace globalization

Globalization is not a new invention or paradigm, and it's a fact we have to live with, Egyptian Ambassador to China, Assem Hanafi, told China Daily in a recent interview.

Outlining the benefits of globalization, Hanafi emphasized that open markets, knowledge exchange, human mobility, and both economic and non-economic interactions are key reasons why Egypt actively supports globalization.

In today's complex international landscape, Hanafi said that cooperation is more crucial than ever. He said Egypt has benefited greatly from international cooperation, with strengthened international understanding and deeper people-to-people ties playing a vital role in the country's progress.

Hanafi also expressed confidence in the enduring partnership between China and Egypt. As long-standing friends, he believes the two nations can achieve greater success by deepening cooperation.
