55. The Water Feed Plant Yangfan Scientific Development Demonstration Zone, Xingtai County

Ⅰ. Project Contents

Zhuzhuang Reservoir's trunk canal leading to the Demonstration Zone is repaired for anti-seepage and sealed with cover boards; meanwhile, water delivery pipelines are laid, and pump stations and water feed pools (over 100,000 m3) constructed. The annual water availability reaches over 10 million m3, and the construction period is 6 months.

This project involves a total investment of 8.41 million dollars.

Ⅲ. Construction Conditions

This project is located at Yangfan Scientific Development Demonstration Zone, Xingtai County. Lying 5 km off southwest of Xingtai City, and at the core of the 100-li Industry Belt of Xingtai City, the Park has an overall covering area of 50 km2, a long-term planned area of 30 km2, and a near-term planned area of 14 km2. With a favorable geographical location, convenient access to transport and telecommunication, and adequate availability of land, water and power, the Park focuses on development of the four high-tech industries–electronic information, new energy & new technologies, environment conservation and ecology, and bio-pharmaceuticals – supported by innovation and R&D and modern services in an effort to build a cluster of new industries, as well as an important industrial zone of green and ecological economies, and a demonstration zone of circular economy and ecological environment conservation in the central south of Hebei Province. Xingtai County Government has invested over 300 million yuan to launch preliminary construction of infrastructure; the construction of infrastructure has been in full swing; the trunk canal of Zhuzhuang Reservoir as one of state's large reservoirs can directly lead to the site. Thus it enjoys convenient construction conditions.

Ⅳ. Benefit Analysis

This project after completion, based on an expected annual water availability of 10 million m3, will yield a turnover of 26 million yuan, a profit of 11.1 million yuan, and taxes of 4.73 million yuan.

56. Grain Down-stream Processing Industry Park, Environment Conservation and Ecology Industry Park, Electronic and Bio-pharmaceutical Industry Park, Yangfan Scientific Development Demonstration Zone, Xingtai County

Ⅰ. Project Contents

Grain Down-stream Processing Industry Park. It covers an area of 1.32 km2, and involves an expected investment of 292.4 million dollars. Based on the completed Hebei Northern Logistics Center of Cereals and Oils, efforts are made to attract some grain down-stream processing enterprises to move in so as to form an industry park of cereals, oils and foodstuffs down-stream processing. Environment Conservation and Ecology Industry Park. It covers an area of 2.2 km2, and involves an expected investment of 438.6 million dollars; efforts are made to attract some enterprises of machinery and materials of environment conservation to move in so as to gradually form an industrial park of machinery and materials of environment conservation. Electronic and Bio-pharmaceutical Industry Park. It covers an area of 1.65 km2, and involves an expected investment of 365.5 million dollars; efforts are made to attract some electronic information and bio-pharmaceutical enterprises to move in so as to gradually form an electronic and bio-pharmaceutical industry park.

57. The Sewage Treatment and Reclaimed Water Reuse Yangfan Scientific Development Demonstration Zone, Xingtai County

Ⅰ. Project Contents

A set of sewage treatment system with a capacity of 30,000 m3/d is constructed, and one reclaimed-water storage pool of 100,000 m3 for circular use after sewage treatment.

This project is located at Yangfan Scientific Development Demonstration Zone, Xingtai County. Lying 5 km off southwest of Xingtai City, and at the core of the 100-li Industry Belt of Xingtai City, the Park has an overall covering area of 50 km2, a long-term planned area of 30 km2, and a near-term planned area of 14 km2. Xingtai County Government has invested over 43.86 million dollars to launch preliminary construction of infrastructure; at present, more than 30 enterprises are intending to make an entry into the site; this project can be put into use and yield benefits immediately after completion.

This project after completion will have an annual sewage treatment capacity of 10 million m3, and supply reclaimed water of 9 million m3; it is expected that its annual turnover will reach 3.95 million dollars, and profits & taxes, 2.19 million dollars.
